4 Ways to Share DynaMath This Summer

Keep students engaged over the summer with our online resources

Students can practice addition and subtraction in this fun DynaMath game, Hitting Hustle.

The end of school is approaching, and it’s almost time for your well-deserved summer break!

But even as the beach beacons, don’t forget that you can still keep students engaged all summer long. Your current DynaMath subscription is active until September!

Help prevent the summer slump in your students and share the DynaMath website with families. It’s easy!

1. Find and share your classroom password with families

Students need their classroom password to access DyanMath’s website at home. This is easy to find.

Click the user icon in the top right corner of the top nav. Then, click the “My Dashboard” in the dropdown menu (see image on the right). This takes you to your account page. This includes all of your Scholastic classroom magazines subscriptions (see below image).

Your classroom password is located at the bottom of the “Student Access” tile. This is what you share with families.

2. Email or post DynaMath’s family engagement letter

Our May/June 2018 Family Engagement Letter

Don’t forget that each month, we produce a family engagement letter that you can send home with families. It explains the math covered in each issue and provides a space for you to write your classroom password.

You can find the family engagement letters for all issues here.

3. Assign fun math games that review skills

Each month we create a game that reviews elementary math in a fun, grade-appropriate way.

These interactive learning tools are fantastic ways for students to actively practice skills they have learned during the school year.

Students can read whatever their hearts desire with our themed text sets.

4. Summer reading, DynaMath style

We all know how reading over the summer is crucial for students (reminder: to register for the official Scholastic summer reading challenge, click here).

For a math twist, share our text sets with your students. They can explore topics that interest them, ranging from amazing animals to space exploration and everything in between.

These collections are chock-full of fun articles, math vocabulary, and engaging videos. They cover this year’s content, as well as our archives.
