Dr. Dog?

A new study found spending time with a dog can help reduce a person’s feelings of pain. Scientists divided emergency room patients into two groups. Everyone in both groups ranked their pain. They also answered questions about how they were feeling emotionally. One group spent 10 minutes with a trained therapy dog. The other group received typical medical care with no dog present. Patients who spent time with a dog reported less pain and stress.
212 people participated in the study. 104 people got typical care and did not see therapy dogs.
How many people received treatment with a therapy dog?
