ESTIMATE: A calculation that is not exact. Estimates are often used when making calculations quickly or with large numbers or decimal numbers.
EQUATION: A number sentence that includes an equal sign. The values represented on both sides of the equal sign are the same.
ROUNDING: The process of replacing a number with an approximately equal but simpler number. Numbers can be rounded up or rounded down.
TRILLION: A million millions. For example, 1 trillion is written as 1,000,000,000,000. It is 1 million times greater than 1,000,000.
