World Cup Stats

Which country will win the soccer tournament this year?

This summer, some of the world’s best soccer players will gather to compete in the FIFA World Cup tournament. This year, the men’s competition is in Russia. Teams from 32 countries will vie to take home the cup starting in June. Germany, the defending champion, is a favorite to win. But teams from countries such as Brazil, Argentina, and England are expected to give Germany a run for its money.

Millions of fans plan to attend the early-round games in Russia. A lucky fraction of them will be at the final game.

In 2019, France will host the women’s World Cup.
